RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an MTG Oracle EBusiness Suite Service Manager, Service Administrator, or On-Duty Analyst you will be responsible for managing all aspects of service and support for client accounts. You will work on a variety of Oracle platforms and architectures, manage your customer's service programs (e.g. system maintenance, strategic planning...), deliver project status to customer and MTG management, and work with the MTG Client Services team to provide timely, effective and efficient support for all MTG customer systems. You will assist in defining best practices, standards, and methodologies and will gain valuable experience with the latest Oracle technologies and products.
This individual must be able to independently manage their work, create and maintain relevant technical documentation, and manage/mentor junior staff. Due to system uptime requirements this individual should expect to work some overtime and be "on call" during holidays and weekends on a rotational basis with other staff members.
REQUIRED:
5+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite DBA experience with 11.5.8 or later - including installation, upgrade, cloning, patching, and trouble resolution,
2+ years of Project Management - including task planning, execution management, status reporting, and risk mitigation,
7+ years Oracle DBA experience with 10g or later - including installation, upgrade, cloning, patching, and trouble resolution,
BS/MS with computer discipline
Strong verbal and written communications (English)
DESIRED:
Consulting and/or customer service experience
MS with Computer Discipline
Project Management Certification
